As reported last week, there was a fight this weekend at UFC 100 and we’re not talking about anything that happened inside the Octagon. Former UFC light heavyweight champions Rashad Evans and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson got into another minor altercation cage-side.
“Rampage came over to say hi to us, I was next to Rashad and those two almost got into it tonight,” UFC president Dana White stated about the incident, which he was mere inches from. “I’ve been living with that for six weeks (on ‘The Ultimate Fighter’).”
The two coached opposite each other on the 10th season of the hit reality show, and are rumored to be facing off in December. We say “rumored” because the UFC hasn’t officially announced it, however Rampage took it upon himself by claiming the scrap will be in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.
“Anytime these guys got within two inches of each other at the show, it’s bad,” White added about their mutual hatred. “They really don’t like each other and these two really want to fight. Season 10 is probably some of the best television we’ve ever done. It’s crazy.”
