The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) confirmed this week that all 10 of the 22 fighters at UFC 98 who were tested for drugs and performance enhancing drugs passed their respective tests. MMAJunkie.com reported that the fighters tested were George Roop, Yoshiyuki Yoshida, Krzysztof Soszynski, Kyle Bradley,
Brock Larson, Frankie Edgar, Chael Sonnen, Matt Hughes, Rashad Evans
and Lyoto Machida. Random pre-UFC 98 drug tests were administered to Edgar, Hughes, Matt Serra and Sean Sherk, all of whom passed.
The fighters tested were randomly selected. Normally main event competitors and winners are tested, as well as fighters who have failed drug tests in the past.
