The official revenue numbers are in for UFC 98, and they aren’t too shabby. Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer reported that 12,606 fans packed into the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, earning the organization $3,257,350 at the gate.
Of the 12,606 heads in attendance, only 24% of those were comps, leaving 9,550 paid for the UFC.
Lyoto Machida bullied former light heavyweight champ Rashad Evans for the better part of two rounds to capture the UFC crown. At a dominating 15-0, there is no telling when this talented Brazilian’s run at 205 will end.
