Quick Shots: Severn Returns, Villasenor Faces Cyborg, Lashley vs. Sapp Confirmed

* Joey Villasenor will face Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos in the main event of the second Sho MMA: Strikeforce Challengers event on Friday, June 19 at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington. Villasenor (26-6) is on a three fight win streak, having last defeated Phil Baroni via TKO on the first EliteXC on CBS. Santos (16-12) last fought last September, where he lost to Siyar Bahadurzada at Sengoku 5 in Japan. For more on the event, click here.

* Dan “The Beast” Severn, 50, returns to MMA at Gladiator Challenge on Saturday, May 16 in Elko, Nevada. Severn will face Chris Wood, 28, who trains with Team Miletich in South Dakota. Severn last fought in January at Iroquois – MMA Championships 7, where he dropped a unanimous decision to William Richey.

* It has been confirmed that Bobby Lashley (2-0) will face Bob Sapp (10-3-1) on June 27th as part of the Ultimate Chaos pay-per-view event in Biloxi, Mississippi. The other half of the co-main event will feature former UFC heavyweight contender Pedro Rizzo (16-8) facing Gilbert Yvel (35-13-1). Din Thomas (24-8), Javier Vazquez (12-2), Chris Horodecki (12-1) and Affliction Vice President Tom Atencio (1-0) will also appear on the card.
