WEC 41 Ticket Sales Strong, Updated Card Inside

Tickets are already selling well for WEC 41 on June 7th at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California, which is headlined by WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown defending his title against former champ Urijah Faber. is reporting that is reporting that over 7,000 tickets already have been sold for the event and the event is trending better than WEC 34, which holds the WEC record with 12,682 attendees and a $739,000 gate. WEC 34 was headlined by then-champion Urijah Faber defending his title against Jens Pulver. The event had set a vierwership record for WEC on Versus with 1.54 million viewers.

In addition to the Brown – Faber main event, WEC 41 features Jose Aldo facing Cub Swanson in the co-main event. Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone will face newcomer James Krause in a lightweight showdown, while former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver faces Josh Grispi.

On the undercard, The Ultimate Fighter Season 5 runner-up Manny Gamburyan makes his WEC debut, taking on undefeated featherweight John Franchi while former WEC bantamweight champion Eddie Wineland faces Frank Gomez. Below is the current card:
