Fightline Radio hosts Carl “2 Ice” Shimkin and Matthew Brothers went deep with two of MMA’s biggest superstars— jake Shields and Houston Alexander.

UFC Light-Heavyweight Houston “The Assassin” Alexander (aka SCRIB 1972) talked about his current training camp, upcoming opponent Andre Gusmao, and it wouldn’t be a Houston interview if we didn’t add a lil’ Hip-Hop flavor!

Matthew broke out his HOUSTON ALEXANDER Rap which impressed the sh*t out of Houston so much so, that Houston promised to play it live on his hip- hop radio show at KOPW 106.9.

Once we all calmed down we went to the mat with Houston on an array of topics:

-Hip-hop Culture

-Andre Gusmao

-Training with Jeremy Horn

-His appearance on “Sports Science”. Wait till you hear how Houston’s natural adrenalin compared to artificial adrenalin!

Our interview ended with Houston thanking everyone, “who questioned his ground game, and made jokes about it… It’s definitely motivated me. The jokes were funny, but watch closely my next fight.”

After a little talk about last weekend’s DREAM event and the impressive victory by Hyoto “Mach” Sakurai, Carl “2 Ice” and Brothers ripped into Jordan Breen and his latest article criticizing Frank Mir.

Then, as if that wasn’t enough, Fightline Radio had an in-depth interview with none other than former EliteXC Welterweight Champion Jake Shields!

We talked to the Caesar Gracie Black Belt about:

-His upcoming fight with “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler,

– His appearance on MTV’s “Bully Beatdown” with Jason “Mayhem” Miller

– and wait till you HEAR what Jake had to say about Frank “The Prototype” Shamrock and his training partner Nick Diaz.

Lets just say that when speaking about Shamrock, his words were less than flattering and the word “A**Hole” came up a few times.
