DREAM 8 Officially Announced

DREAM officially announced their welterweight grand prix lineup set for DREAM 8 on April 5 at the Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan.

Eight welterweights will battle it out at DREAM 8 in early next month for the chance to make it to the final four set for DREAM 10 on July 20 where the 2009 welterweight grand prix champion will be crowned.

US fans can catch the event five days later on HDNet airing April 10 at 10pm EST.

The welterweight Grand Prix will be fortified at the top by an exciting match up between Japanese legend Hayato Sakurai as he takes on WAMMA lightweight champion Shinya Aoki.

Others in action include Jeff Monson,
Sergei Kharitonov, Ikuhisa Minowa and Ninja Rua.
