Drysdale won the 2007 Abu-Dhabi Submission Wrestling World Championships by beating Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu legend Marcelo Garcia.

Robert Drysdale will face off against the latest Gracie sensation- 2005 ADCC champ, Roger Gracie in an ADCC Superfight in September, 2009.

He is currently training with Randy Couture. Drysdale won his first amateur MMA fight recently at Tuff-N-Uff promotion.

He runs a mixed martial arts school in Las Vegas, Nevada. His school is currently registering students for a special Pan Am Games All Star BJJ Camp/Seminar that will run from March 16th-26th.

Big Daddy Joe Stevenson, Kevin Randleman, Phil Baroni, Frank Mir and other MMA stars will attend the camp.
