Rashad Evans "Not Scared" Of Lyoto Machida

“I’m not scared. Machida is tough. I gotta lot of respect for him but I’m gonna win. His strategy going into that fight was all wrong. He probably just didn’t have the tools to match Machida. Machida is clever man, that dude is tough.”

– Rashad Evans talks with Steve Cofield about why he believes Thiago Silva came up short against Lyoto Machida and what his prospects against the unbeaten Brazilian wrecking machine will be.

Evans appears headed for a showdown with either Machida or Quinton “Rampage” Jackson some time in May or June depending on how things shake out between Jackson and Keith Jardine when the two face each other at UFC 96 in March. If Jackson wins he’ll likely face Evans, if not expect Machida to get the nod.
