Dan Henderson vs. Rich Franklin
Round 1: Henderson and Franklin traded leg kicks early. Henderson rocked Franklin with a big punch and slipped, and Henderson got on top of Franklin on the ground. Henderson dropped some hard shots from the top. Franklin was finally able to get back to his feet and landed some kicks to the body. Franklin finished the round strong, however Henderson did more damage. 10-9 Henderson.
Round 2: Henderson started the round pushing forward. By the middle of the round, Henderson is able to take Franklin down. Henderson maintained the advantage on the ground, however didn’t do much damage. Henderson tried to drop some punches and elbows from the top as the round ended. 10-9 Henderson.
Round 3: Both men traded punches and kicks early before Henderson was able to take Franklin down. The fight got back standing, and Henderson’s looking beat. Franklin got in some good shots. Franklin continued to pick away at Henderson before he was accidentally poked in the eye, which paused the action with only 37 seconds left in the fight. It was a bad one. Franklin was given two minutes to recover. With the fight restarted, Franklin chased Henderson around and landed a couple of jabs. 10-9 for Franklin.
