UFC 93: Marcus Davis vs. Chris Lytle

Marcus Davis vs. Chris Lytle
Chris Lytle came out first. Davis came out to House Of Pain’s “Jump Around” and got a big reaction from the crowd.

Round 1: The crowd was singing right as the round started. Lytle rocked Davis early with some big right hands. Lytle landed in some leg kicks as well. Davis landed in come good shots but Lytle is the aggressor. The crowd is loud as hell. Late in the round, Lytle rocked Davis again, but Davis followed and knocked Lytle to the ground but they were quickly back on their feet. Davis has a small cut under his left eye. Lytle goes in to land a few punches as the round came to a close. 10-9 for Lytle.

Round 2: Lytle started with some big shots early and Davis is woozy. Davis nails Lytle with a hard shot and knocks Lytle down, but Davis lats him back up. Davis follows with a nice body kick and a hard knee. Lytle continues to be the aggressor. Davis was starting to pick his shots and landing a lot of punches and kicks. As the round was closing, Davis nailed Lytle with another big knee. Closer round, 10-9 for Davis.

Round 3: Both men hugged to open the round. Both men traded blows and kicks early on with neither fighter getting a real advantage. Davis is looking fresher and is landing more shots by the middle of the round. Davis rocked Lytle with 15 seconds left in the round but Lytle got back up. Great round, another 10-9 round for Davis.
