The highly anticipated Light Heavyweight showdown set for December 27th at UFC 92 between Wanderlei Silva and Quinton Jackson is starting to heat up. Already holding two victories in two fights over Jackson, Silva further affirmed his feelings toward the former UFC champion saying, “I don’t like this guy. I just don’t care for him. He jokes at bad moments. He’s not the kind of guy I like.”
Silva recently spoke to Yahoo! Eurosport about Jackson. “I am very thankful that I have the opportunity to fight him again.” Silva continued.
Things have changed since the last time these two fighters have met though as Jackson had seemed to of found his groove in defeating both Chuck Liddell and Dan Henderson while holding the UFC Light Heavyweight title before dropping it to Forrest Griffin in a controversial decision.
The “Axe Murderer” actually has more to prove as he’s hoping to use the momentum gained in the Keith Jardine win to erase his previous three-fight losing streak to Mirko Cro Cop, Dan Henderson and Chuck Liddell respectively.
