GracieFighter is reporting that Nate Diaz will be taking on Clay Guida at UFC 94 on January 31st. The bout was originally scheduled for “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 8 finale but a foot injury forced the UFC to pull the fight.
Guida appears to be healing up fine which has allowed the UFC to reschedule the fight as apart of the undercard to Georges St-Pierre vs. BJ Penn II.
Diaz is coming off of a victory over Josh Neer and is riding a 5 fight win streak, while Guida has bounced back with two straight victories, including a win over Season 6’s “Ultimate Fighter” champion Mac Danzig.
Many experts feel that Diaz and Guida could be vying for “Fight of the Night” honors come January 31st.
