After defeating Ricardo Barros this past Wednesday at WEC: Torres vs. Tapia, Mark Muñoz told The Asian Journal that the UFC has decided to call him up and sign him to a contract. Muñoz is unsure about which division he’ll be competing in at the moment.
Muñoz currently owns an impressive 5-0 record with 3 wins coming via KO. With the addition of WEC Middleweights and Light Heavyweights to the UFC roster, Muñoz was able to make the cut.
It only took 2:26 of the first round for Muñoz to make his point about the UFC keeping him but now he’ll have an uphill battle as his competition will certainly get far more tough.
