The UFC may want him out but former contender Fabricio Werdum hasn’t agreed on anything yet. According to Werdum, “My sister is who negotiate with UFC and she always contacts me before make any decision and I only know that there was no contact with UFC and her.”
“By the [timeline] that they passed to me, I must fight in February, July, November and April of 2010.” Werdum continued to say in a recent interview with Tatame.
After losing to Junior dos Santos at UFC 90 in a shocking TKO upset, it had been reported that Werdum was sent packing by the UFC for a subpar record of 2-2 during his Octagon stint. The UFC generally has total control of their contracts, so it wouldn’t be shocking if Werdum was let go but not notified of the release.
