UFC 90: Anderson Silva vs. Patrick Cote

Round 1: Cote started the fight with leg kicks. 90 seconds into the round and Silva has yet to attempt a strike. Finally Silva landed a couple of leg kicks. Silva was able to hit a big knee on Cote which cut Cote. Slow round, but Silva did damage with the knee so I’d score it 10-9 for Silva.

Round 2: Silva connected with a big kick early and Cote hit a spinning back fist before the two clinched against the cage. Silva hit another big kick before taking Cote to the ground. Silva nailed Cote with some hard knees to the body to end the round. Patrick Cote is the first person to last past the second round against Anderson Silva in the UFC. 10-9 Silva.

Round 3: Right as the round started, Cote fell to the ground and grabbed his knee, seemingly blowing his ACL and Herb Dean called off the fight.

Winner via TKO (ref stoppage) at 0:39 in Round 3: Anderson Silva
