Brits Get Serious for "The Ultimate Fighter" 9 Tryouts

It was recently announced that the U.K.’s own Michael Bisping was going to be one of the coaches for the next season of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series. Next season proposes a very interesting question in the UFC’s quest to expand their product globally, who is better the USA or the U.K.?

Bisping himself was a champion for the third season of the show and has helped his country get on the MMA map ever since. With three straight victories under his belt, his next fight appears to be against the winner of the Rich Franklin vs. Dan Henderson fight that’ll take place at UFC 93.

Setanta Sports has reported that well over 200 fighters tried out for the U.K.’s team as current UFC fighters Terry Etim and Paul Taylor showed what they had as well as former “Ultimate Fighter” star Ross Pointon.
