Before the UFC blew up to what it is today, Ken Shamrock was one of the two most well known MMA fighters in the world. Now he’s fighting to keep his name relevant as he’ll face YouTube legend Kimbo Slice on Saturday. “I’m very confident that I’m going to get a win.” Shamrock told SI.com.
With losses in 8 out of his last 10 fights, it would be easy for someone to give up but not Shamrock.
“I think that the biggest difference is that I’m going to this fight healthy.” Shamrock explained.
The former “World’s Most Dangerous Man” isn’t sure if this will be his last fight. He hasn’t even thought about anything beyond October 4th. “Everything I’ve been working up towards is Saturday. I haven’t even thought past Saturday.” Shamrock continued.
With not much to brag about in the latter years of his career, Shamrock is confident that he’ll be able to cap off everything with a big win over Kimbo Slice on broadcast television.
