A broken hand was supposed to keep Vitor Belfort off of Affliction’s second event on October 11th, fortunately for Belfort “Day of Reckoning” is now taking place on January 17th which will give his hand ample time to heal up.
““I’ll surely be back. I spoke with Tom Atencio and what they decide is good for me, I’m ready to face anyone.” Belfort told Tatame.com.
Belfort injured his hand at some point during his KO victory over Terry Martin at “Affliction: Banned” and was originally scheduled to fight Matt Lindland at “Day of Reckoning” for the WAMMA middleweight title.
It is currently unknown if Lindland will still be Belfort’s opponent now that he will be able to compete for Affliction on January 17th.
