M-1 Challenge Coming to HDNet on Friday

Sam Caplan of FiveOuncesofPain reported earlier that HDNet will be premiering M-1 Challenge this Friday on their High Definition channel. HDNet has been billed as the home of MMA entertainment by the MMA community and now they’ll be airing what has been called “the world cup of Mixed Martial Arts”.

The show will feature 10 teams from eight different countries who will compete in a team-format much like the IFL before they were sold to the UFC.

Events will be held all over the world and each team will have a fighter representing five different weight classes including: lightweight, welterweight, middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight.
