It was reported earlier today that both reigning IFL Middleweight Champion Dan Miller, and his brother Jim Miller, who also fights in the IFL, have both signed multi-fight deals with the UFC.
The contracts are both exclusive and span four fights. The financial specifics have not been released.
Dan Miller won the IFL’s Middleweight Title from Ryan McGivern in just his second fight in the IFL. He also holds the Middleweight Title in the Cage Fury Fighting promotion.
Younger brother Jim also has some big fights under his belt. He holds a victory of Bart Palaszewski which he achieved in his first and only fight in the IFL. He also holds both a TKO and submission victory over Chris Liguori. Jim, who is 11-1, suffered his only career loss to UFC standout Frank Edgar.
Mike Constantino, who is both a trainer of the Miller’s and acts as their manager, had this to say about the signing and their readiness to fight: “If they told us to fight in two weeks, we’d be ready,” Constantino said. “We’ll fight as soon as possible. The guys are always in shape and in the gym all the time helping their teammates. We have about 20 guys at the gym who fight in pro organizations, so someone always has a fight coming up, and Dan and Jim are always there helping them out.”
