As reported earlier today, Affliction VP Tom Atencio has said that Affliction will likely return to the airwaves in early November with their line-up of talented heavweights. He has already said that Andrei Arlovski, Josh Barnett, Paul Buentello, and WAMMA Champion Fedor Emelianenko would all most likely be on the card.
Although he is quoted as saying they’re still scouting locations for their sophomore effort in MMA promoting, New Jersey is a possible locale for Affliction II. Affliction investor Donald Trump owns the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City and is most certainly a plausible venue for the event.
With their current roster of fighters, the possibilities are endless, and with the UFC now getting some solid competition, the real winners are the fans of MMA.
