Anthony Johnson is a relative newcomer to the world of big time MMA. But that doesn’t stop him from having big time aspirations.
Johnson recently revealed that he plans to work his way past Georges St. Pierre at welterweight and then move up to middleweight to “beat everybody up there.”
But holding two belts won’t be enough to satiate Johnson who recently told Setana Sport that he wants more.
“No,” said Johnson when asked if he’d be happy with two belts. “BJ Penn, Minotauro (Nogueira), everybody. If I could drop down to 135/140, I’d do that, too. There’s so much competition out there, I would love to test everybody just to see who’s the better man. Test our bodies and spirits.”
Johnson starts his campaign of UFC dominance this Saturday against Kevin Burns (6-1).
