PPV Round-By-Round Coverage:
-Jon Fitch vs. Chris Wilson
Both fighters are feeling each other out. Fitch lands a solid leg kick. Fitch has Wilson up against the cage, Wilson escapes. Fitch lands another leg kick. Wilson stuns Fitch, lands another combo. Fitch recovers and gets Wilson up against the cage, takes Wilson down. Fitch attempts to pass guard, and ref. stands them up. Rogan comments that the standup was a bad move as both fighters were working. Wilson lands a kick to Fitch’s body. Wilson lands another inside leg kick. Another scramble and Fitch lands in Wilson’s guard.
Round 1 over. I have it 10-9 Wilson, as Wilson is winning the standup exchange, however Fitch scored 2 takedowns.
Fitch gets a leg, Wilson shows good take down defense and escapes. Wilson falls and Fitch rushes to him and ends up in Wilson’s guard. Body punches by Fitch. More ground and pound from Fitch as Fitch passes to side control. Fitch gets the mount position on Wilson. Wilson buckles and gets Fitch to half guard. Another scramble where Fitch gets side control again.
Round 2 over. I have it 10-9 Fitch as Fitch bullied Wilson on the ground and maintained the dominant position throughout most of the round.
Round opens with Fitch landing an inside leg kick. Wilson catches a wizzer, nearly taking Fitch down with a trip. Fitch connects with a 1-2 as Wilson backs away. Fitch lands another combination. Wilson misses with a spinning back kick. Fitch connnects with a body kick, presses the standup on Wilson. Fitch looks much more comfortable on his feet than the first round. Fitch gets a double leg takedown, unleashes some ground and pound on Wilson. One minute left and Wilson is attemping a triangle on Fitch. 15 seconds left, Wilson has Fitch in a full triangle! Round over.
Round 3 over. I have it 10-9 Fitch. Fitch went punch for punch with a superior striker and punished Wilson on the ground.

-Evan Tanner vs. Yushin Okami
The round begins with both fighters feeling each other out for several minutes. Tanner lands a couple rights. Okami drops Tanner with a straight left and tries to finish Tanner off. Tanner survives and gets Okami against the cage. Okami escapes and exchanges with tanner in the middle of the cage, Okami gets a Muay Thai clinch and knees to Tanner’s body. Tanner pushes Okami off. Tanner connects with an inside leg kick.
Round 1 over. I have it 10-9 Okami, it was a close round by Okami dropped Tanner which will reflect on the judge’s scores cards.
Tanner connects with an inside leg kick on Okami within the opneing seconds of the round. Okami connects with a vicious body kick on Tanner. Okami gets Tanner in another Muay Thai clinch and knees to Tanner’s body. Okami is getting the better of Tanner in the standing exchanges. Okami gets Tanner in the Muay Thai clinch again and knees Tanner in the head, knocking Tanner out! Great KO finish for Okami.

-Chris Leben vs. Alessio Sakara
The round opens with Leben rushing out and connecting with several leg kicks. Expolsive exchange, with Leben eating several punches. Leben connects with another leg kick to Sakara’s body. Leben with the Thai clinch, knees to Sakara’s body. Both fighters are exchanging hard shots in an exciting exchange! Alessio connects with a combination. Leben connects with another body kick, more upper cuts to Sakara. Sakara is hurt! Leben with more ground and pound. Ref. steps in and Leben with via TKO stoppage. Sakara is protesting an early stoppage.

-Heath Herring vs. Cheick Kongo
The round begins with Herring rushing over and rocking Kongo. Kongo momentarily looks lost. Herring gets Kongo against the cage, Kongo muscles out and takes Herring down. Herring gives Kongo his back. Both fighters are back at their feat. Herring connects with a kick, fires another one which Kongo catches to take Herring down. Herring positions himself to get ontop of Kongo, good grapping by Herring. Kongo muscles his way back up, Kongo takes Herring down and gets full mount against the cage. Kongo fires off several body shots to Herring’s body. erring explodes out and gets underhooks on Kongo. As Herring takes Kongo down, Kongo reverses and gets mount. Kongo goes north south. Round is over.
Round 1 over. Great action packed round. I give it 10-9 Kongo as Kongo usually had dominant position, kudos to Herring for getting out of some bad positions.
Herring rushes Kongo again in the opening moments of Round 2. Kongo’s strength gets the better of Heath in the scramble. Kongo in Herring’s half guard landing shots on Herring. Herring lands a vicious upkick to Kongo’s head. Both fighters get stood up. Herring presses the action again. Kongo pins Herring against the cage and takes Herring down. Kongo gets Herring’s back. Herring reverses and gets ontop of Kongo, good body shots by Herring. Herring with several hard knees to Kongo’s body. Kongo not doing anything to changes position as the clock tickets to the closing seconds of the round.
Round 2 over. I give it 10-9 Herring as Herring dominated Kongo with several painful looking knees to Kongo’s body. Great heart by Herring.
Herring looks ready to explode and knocks Kongo f down. Scramble ends with Kongo ontop of Herring. Both fighters up. Kongo takes Herring down again Heath grabs Kongo’s leg. Heath takes Kongo down and gets into side control. Kongo pushing off the leg, trying to get back up. Herring with ground and pound, more knees as Herring positions to North-South. Heath is in control. Kongo tries to get back up but Herring stuffs the attempt. More knees to the body by Herring. Kongo is going to be sore tomorrow morning. 30 seconds remain and Herring transitions to full mount. Kongo tries to buck to no effect.
Round 3 is over. I have it 10-9 Herring as Herring pressed the action and dominated Kongo on the ground with more painful knees and ground and pound.

-Anderson Silva (c) vs. Dan Henderson
Round 1 of this middleweight title bout opens with both fighters circling, feeling each other out, Hendo lands an inside leg kick. Dan comes over the top with his right, Silva counters with an uppercut and front kick. Dan clinches with Silva, gets a bodylock and takes Silva down. Dan in Silva’s half guard lands a couple shots. Hendo controlling Silva on the floor and landing hammer fists to Silva’s temple. Henderson putting his hand over Silva’s mouth to disrupt Silva’s breathing, still landing ground and pound. Dan transitions to side control. Silva spins out and gets Hendo back in guard.
Round 1 is over. Definitely 10-9 Henderson, Henderson controlled Silva from the ground and landed several punishing hammerfists
Round 2 opens with Silva landing a kick to Henderson’s body. Hendo lurches forward and lands a kick, Silva punishes Hendo with a combination. Dan comes forward with a looping right. Dan clinches Silva against the cage, lands knees. Silva escapes. Silva catches Henderson with a devestating knee! Silva gets in Henderson’s half guard. Iron jaw Hendo recovering, Silva attempts to pass guard. Silva gets Dan’s back. Silva gets underhooks and backmount on Henderson Silva gets body triangle, Hendo in trouble! 30 seconds left! Hendo trying to survive. Silva sinks in a rear naked choke. Dan taps. Fight over.
