Five Best Bellator Cards Of 2014

will brooks

Bellator stuck to Spike TV for the most part, putting just one event on pay-per-view in 2014.

Picking out that event for this list was a no-brainer, but the other four took some searching.

The promotion normally limits main card bouts to four, stacking the prelims. Still, there was plenty of good action from the “other” guys in MMA this past year.

Here’s the five best Bellator events, in order of when they aired:

Bellator 112

Pat Curran won back the featherweight title, scoring a fifth round submission victory over Daniel Straus with just 14 seconds left.

Along with that rematch, Andrey Koreshkov finished Nah-Shon Burrell in just 41 seconds, Sam Oropeza dropped Cristiano Souza in 3:07 and Adam McDonough won a decision.

The prelims boasts wins by Nathan Coy, Belal Muhammad, Darrion Caldwell, Derek Loffer, Anthony Gomez, Daniel James and Diego Marlon.
