Forrest Griffin holds the distinction winning the very first season of SpikeTV's popular series, The Ultimate Fighter. He took the light heavyweight tournament by defeating Stephan Bonnar in the finals of the show in what many have termed one of the best UFC fights of all time.

Griffin was recently announced as one of the coaches of the next season of The Ultimate Fighter, with the other coach being current UFC Light Heavyweight champion, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. Forrest is the current top contender for the UFC Light Heavyweight championship.
