Mike Brown is a former WEC Featherweight Champion and is recognized by many as one of the best featherweight fighters in the world. Brown trains full-time at the American Top Team academy in Coconut Creek, Florida.

Brown won the WEC Featherweight Champion when he defeated Urijah Faber at WEC 36: Faber vs. Brown on November 5, 2008.  He went on to successfully defend the title twice (including against Faber) before losing the title to Jose Aldo at WEC 44: Brown vs. Aldo on November 18, 2009.
