The three judges who first watched the Fedor Emelianenko-Fabio Maldonado main event from EFN 50 last month have reviewed the fight again and decided on a different outcome.
The World MMA Association, a self-reported non-profit organization, issued a release Friday stating the bout is now declared a draw. All three judges watched it a second time and decided to rule it 28-28.
Maldonado rocked Emelianenko in the early portion of the three-round fight from Russia that aired live on UFC Fight Pass. “The Last Emperor” recovered and controlled the final 10 minutes of the contest.
