Fabio Maldonado is out to take Fight of the Night at tomorrow’s UFC Fight Night 29. The way he’s talking, Knockout of the Night is also something Maldonado could obtain.
“I don’t know what his game will be, but I will give 110% in my performance and will hurt and knock out Joey Beltran,” said Maldonado. “I have great respect for Joey Beltran but I enter the Octagon to get the job done and win.”
The last time Maldonado fought from Brazil, he ended his three fight losing streak by getting the decision over Roger Hollett. The 19-6 light heavyweight now takes on Joey Beltran.
Beltran returned to the UFC last year, following a short release. His last win was overturned to a no contest and Beltran served a nine month suspension for steroids.
They can be spotted at UFC Fight Night 29, which is October 9 from the Ginásio José Corrêa in Brazil.
