UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez has booked a plane ticket to Las Vegas and UFC 202 later this month.
And it’s not just a fun trip he has planned.
Alvarez, appearing on a recent edition of “UFC Tonight,” is planning on calling out the winner between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.
“I’m going to head out to Vegas for UFC 202 and try to start a fight with the winner of Conor and Diaz,” he said. “These guys are a part of the circus and I want to be part of the circus.”
Alvarez, a former Bellator champion, won the belt last month when he finished Rafael dos Anjos in the first round. He also holds wins over former UFC champion Anthony Pettis and ex-Strikeforce titleholder Gilbert Melendez.
