Early UFC 168 Fighter Salaries For Anderson Silva, Chris Weidman

The early fighter salaries for tonight’s UFC 168 main fighters are large, led by former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

According to numbers obtained by, Silva is set to make $600,000 in base salary, with an additional $200,000 if he is able to defeat Chris Weidman.

Weidman, the reigning champion, will net $200,000 and an additional $200,000 should he win.

The co-main event fighters, Ronda Rousey ($50,000/$50,000 win bonus) and Miesha Tate ($28,000/$28,000) are competing for the UFC female bantamweight title.

Josh Barnett, who faces Travis Browne, will pick up $170,000; Browne is set for $28,000/$28,000.

These numbers do not include any type of locker room, sponsorship or bonus money.
