The decision to include Bruce Lee in “EA Sports: UFC” appears to be a big one, as the gaming giant has released a video featuring Lee.
Lee was selected as a special in-game character, and UFC champions Jon Jones and Anthony Pettis, along with UFC president Dana White, offer up their thoughts on him in the clip, which you can view below.
“He was one of the guys who made martial arts mainstream,” Pettis said. “Before the UFC, guys wanted to be Bruce Lee.”
The video also shows Lee executing a number of moves inside the Octagon, complete with UFC-sponsored shorts. It’s a pretty interesting look, as the legend executes several spinning attacks and attempts an armbar, while also engaging the likes of Frankie Edgar in a stand-up battle.
“No one’s going to be like Bruce Lee,” Jones said. “He was just a one-of-a-kind individual.”
“EA Sports: UFC” is set for release June 17 on both Xbox One and Playstation 4.
