Donald Cerrone has come to the defense of new Jackson-Winkeljohn teammate Alistair Overeem.
While nothing has been made official, Overeem is rumored to be the man Jon Jones was grappling with when he tore his knee. The UFC light heavyweight champion underwent surgery last week and is set to be out until 2015.
Despite the rumors, “Cowboy” wants everyone to know that the former Strikeforce heavyweight champion is not a threat to the fighters of the gym.
I dont understand why you'll want to talk shit about @Alistairovereem Dude is a great teammate and friend! Hes doesn't try and hurt anyone

Cerrone returns to the Octagon next month against Eddie Alvarez at UFC 178.
Mike Winkeljohn, one of the main coaches at the gym alongside Greg Jackson, commented on the post by saying “Cowboy always speaks truth.”
