Diego Sanchez admits the decision to try and drop down to featherweight was not a wise one.
Sanchez, who lost his 145-pound debut last November to Ricardo Lamas, confirmed on social media that he will return to lightweight this year.

The former Ultimate Fighter winner is 2-3 over hist last five fights, scoring split decisions vs. Ross Pearson and Takanori Gomi around decision defeats to Lamas, Myles Jury and Gilbert Melendez.
