UFC president Dana White is one to hold grudges.
Say something bad about him once, and you will have him coming after you for years.
Randy Couture upset the UFC boss with his decision-making several times behind-the scenes, but White isn’t holding that against Ryan Couture, the fighting son of Randy.
Over the weekend, Ryan lost his second consecutive UFC fight, falling to Al Iaquinta via decision. He was also bested by Ross Pearson earlier this year.
“I think Ryan Couture is a tough kid; he took a beating (Saturday night),” White said during his post-fight media scrum. “I like Ryan. He’s lost two in a row….we’ll see what happens.
“He’s tough, though. That kid’s got a chin; he didn’t get that chin from his old man.”
Randy Couture parted ways with the UFC and signed a deal with Viacom, which runs Bellator MMA. He is a former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion, along with a member of the hall of fame.
