Dana White tends to wear his emotions on his sleeve, as they like to say. The UFC president tells it like it is, and sometimes, he might put a little extra hot-air in the balloon.

Regardless, White has gone on record as calling the recent Conor McGregor-Diego Brandao main event from Dublin, Ireland the best fight he has been to. Maybe not so much for the action, as McGregor dominated until the finish, but the atmosphere inside The O2.

“It’s the greatest fight I’ve ever been to,” said White, in an interview with “It’s the greatest sporting event I’ve ever been to in my life. It was insane.”

The Irish crowd was in full force from start to finish, as several fighters with roots in the country put on strong performances. None, though, were as important as that of McGregor, who vaulted into the Top-10 with the win and a future meeting vs. Dustin Poirier.

“He’s exciting to watch, he’s exciting to listen to and people love it,” said White, of McGregor. “If he has a great performance against Poirier, who knows where he could go in the rankings.”
