Win, lose, or draw, Dan Henderson wants to continue fighting after this Saturday.
Henderson takes on Vitor Belfort at UFC Fight Night 32, and the contest will fulfill his current deal with the promotion.
After leaving the last time his contract expired for Strikeforce, “Hendo” has no plans on moving in another direction this time.
“Yeah, I’m not planning on retiring and I’m not planning on going anywhere,” said Henderson, during an interview on The MMA Hour recently. “Coming off of two losses in my last two fights, that doesn’t help for negotiating. So there’s a little more pressure on this fight, but I’m pretty sure this fight will be exciting regardless.”
However, Henderson knows that a win can do wonders when it comes to the negotiation table – as can a loss.
“(The deal) might not be as great as a deal as I have now,” he said, should he fall to Belfort.
