According to a report by Sherdog, Dan Henderson vs. Hector Lombard is in the works for June’s UFC 199 event.
The card takes place June 4 from The Forum in Los Angeles.
Henderson (31-14) saw his fight planned for Saturday at UFC on FOX 19 fall by the wayside after Lyoto Machida was removed. The former UFC light heavyweight champion and one-time middleweight title contender informed USADA that he took a banned substance.
Instead of waiting to see what happened with the results, the UFC scrapped the bout completely.
Lombard (34-5) recently let it be known that he will be moving back to middleweight after competing at welterweight in the UFC. He won the middleweight title with Bellator, but has struggled since signing with the UFC.
