This beef between Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos and Ronda Rousey is something the Brazilian doesn’t believe in. Santos has no ill feelings towards the UFC women’s bantamweight champion and wants to make a fight happen.
“I don’t have anything personal against her,” said Santos on MMA Junkie Radio. “She talks stuff about me and I think all the time she’s talking about me. I don’t know if she loves me, but I don’t have nothing personal. I think everything is professional.”
The two have been arguing since their Strikeforce days with no fight ever being booked.
Rousey will look to defend her title against Miesha Tate, in a rematch from Strikeforce. The champ is undefeated with every win via armbar submission.
Santos wasn’t interested in dropping to bantamweight and didn’t join the UFC. She serves as the current Invicta FC featherweight champion.
The issue with booking the fight revolves around what weight class.
