Cris Cyborg, a former Strikeforce female champion, confirmed she has signed a multi-fight deal with Lion Fight.
Cyborg appeared on AXS TV Friday night during Lion Fight 13 to announce the signing. She will face Jorina Bears on March 28.
The 28-year-old Cyborg is a black belt in Muay Thai and a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Cyborg is 12-1 in her MMA career, including wins over Marloes Coenen, Gina Carano and Shayna Baszler.
Cyborg won the Invicta FC featherweight title last July when she finished Coenen for the second time in her career.
In kickboxing, Cyborg is 2-0. She fought for Lion Fight back in September, finishing Jennifer Colomb via third round TKO. Her only other pro kickboxing bout came in 2006, which she finished in the first round.
