Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have agreed to box each other this August.
The two confirmed the bout for August 26 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It will be contested at 154 pounds and both fighters will wear 10-pounce gloves.
The card is expected to be priced closer to a typical Mayweather boxing pay-per-view, with Mayweather Promotions and Showtime handling the majority of that end.
Mayweather will be coming out of retirement for the bout, as the 40-year-old retired with an unblemished mark of 49-0. McGregor is 21-3 in MMA, but has yet to compete as a pro in boxing. He is the reigning UFC lightweight champion and was the first fighter to hold titles in multiple weight classes when he defeated Eddie Alvarez.
