For Conor McGregor it’s time to rest and allow his ACL tear to properly mend. The Irishman took to Twitter to send out the news.
“Surgery is done. Rehab starts now in the O.C. Feeling great. #RecordSetReturn”
In his second UFC outing, McGregor took an easy victory over Max Holloway. McGregor’s pace slowed as his UFC Fight Night 26 contest went on, injuring his knee halfway through the second round.
Since McGregor took his latest win, he’s basically put the entire featherweight division on notice by calling them out.
There’s no return date for McGregor, but he wants back inside the Octagon this year.
