The names of plaintiffs who are planning a class action lawsuit against the UFC will be revealed on Tuesday during a press conference, according to a report by MMAjunkie.com.
The press conference will be held at the Hyatt Place in San Jose beginning at 4 p.m. ET. It will feature “professional MMA fighters and their attorneys,” though no further names were released.
Over the weekend, a report by Bloody Elbow stated that a suit against the UFC’s parent company, Zuffa, was being brought against them due to violating anti-trust laws. The report stated the suit would be for “$100s of millions.”
This comes on the heels of the UFC announcing an exclusive sponsorship deal with Reebok to outfit fighters during fight week and on fight night.
FightLine will continue to provide you with the latest news and information regarding the lawsuit and those involved as it becomes known.
