Chris Weidman Embracing All That Comes With Being A Champion

UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman went from the outhouse to the penthouse when he defeated Anderson Silva earlier this year.

Weidman will look to make it two straight over “The Spider” at UFC 168 this December. He appeared on “UFC Tonight” Wednesday and discussed how his life changed after securing the title.

“You get a lot of business opinions and a lot of proposals from people you don’t know,” Weidman said. “I’m opening up an extermination business, and I’m getting into the snow removal business and a landscaping business.”

As for facing Silva again, “The All-American” re-iterated it is something he wanted – even before defeating him the first time around.

“Right after the knockout, I went up to him and said we have to have a rematch,” Weidman explained. “He’s been a champion for a long time and is the greatest of all-time.”
