“I hate downtime,” said Sonnen to Bleacher Report. “I hate it so much. I like to relax like anybody else, but I hate not doing anything. In my life, I’m either going full speed or I’m at a stop. Yes, I’ve been busy but I’m very grateful to be.”
This year, Sonnen returned to light heavyweight after a decade as middleweight. He rebounded from a title loss to Jon Jones by submitting Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.
Evans won The Ultimate Fighter 2 and is 20-3. The former champ defeated Dan Henderson earlier in the year.
