Chael Sonnen On Staying Busy

Rashad Evans thinks Chael Sonnen has been too busy and is losing focus on their upcoming UFC 167 fight. Sonnen sees the frequent work as a method of staying active.

“I hate downtime,” said Sonnen to Bleacher Report. “I hate it so much. I like to relax like anybody else, but I hate not doing anything. In my life, I’m either going full speed or I’m at a stop. Yes, I’ve been busy but I’m very grateful to be.”

This year, Sonnen returned to light heavyweight after a decade as middleweight. He rebounded from a title loss to Jon Jones by submitting Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.

Evans won The Ultimate Fighter 2 and is 20-3. The former champ defeated Dan Henderson earlier in the year.

They’re the co-main event of UFC 167 on November 16. It’s from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Like always, FightLine will have the play-by-play and news that follows.
