While he didn’t win the title due to missing weight, Nah-Shon Burrell was declared the winner in his CES MMA 34 main event with Chris Curtis.
The bout, which was the main event of the AXS TV card, was filled with controversy after Burrell – a former UFC, Strikeforce and Bellator competitor – was declared the winner via split decision.

Nah-Shon Burrell (13-6,1 NC) topped Chris Curtis (13-5) via split decision (48-47, 47-48, 49-46) in five rounds.
Calvin Kattar (15-2) defeated Kenny Foster (11-11) via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28).
Matthew Lozano (6-3) edged out Johnny Campbell (11-8,1 NC) via unanimous decision 29-28 on all three scorecards.
Leon Davis (8-3,1 NC) was victorious over Lorawnt-T Nelson (7-5) via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-26, 29-28).
Anton Berzin (4-1) overtook Matthew Thompson (19-11) via guillotine at 3:32 in round one.
Kevin Haley (5-3) beat Steve Skrzat (8-8) via TKO (Punches) at 2:45 in second round.
