Carlos Condit has eyes and is aware that Matt Brown is making a name for himself in the welterweight division. If the UFC offers Condit a fight with Brown, he’d be much obliged to accept.
“He’s been on a tear and it’d be really exciting for the fans,” said Condit on MMA Junkie Radio. “I’d like that fight, and we’ll have to see what happens.”
Brown had the most fights in 2012 taking four wins in 11 months. The streak continued into this year as Brown took two more wins. Of his last six wins, Brown has finished all but one which includes a 29 second Knockout of the Night over Mike Pyle at UFC Fight Night 26.
Condit was the interim welterweight champ, but couldn’t successfully unify the belt with Georges St-Pierre. He failed to get the win from Johny Hendricks, but was able to stop Martin Kampmann in the main event of UFC Fight Night 27.
Both fighters are looking to return before the year ends.
