The Nevada Athletic Commission gave Caio Magalhaes a six-month suspension for his post-fight actions following a recent loss to Josh Samman, and ordered the middleweight to serve 40 hours of community services.
Back in July, Magalhaes spit blood at Samman after he submitted to him. The fighter will need to re-apply for his fighters’ license before competing again.
Interestingly enough, Magalhaes – through his translator during the NAC hearing – stated that he had dinner with Samman to clear the air between the two. The Ultimate Fighter alum disputed those remarks on social media:
Absolutely I did not have dinner with someone that spit blood on me. https://t.co/YGGq8COyc9
