Cage Warriors 73 Results: Stevie Ray Finishes Curt Warburton

Cage Warriors held a double-show on Saturday from England, with Stevie Ray successfully defending his lightweight title with a second round submission victory over Curt Warburton.

The entire event took place from Newcastle and the Metro Radio Arena. In the first main event, Alex Enlund topped Nad Narimani to become the new featherweight champion, a belt previously held by UFC star Conor McGregor.

Ronnie Mann picked up a decision in the co-main of the first card, while Kyle Redfearn and Lewis Monarch scored stoppage wins. The second card also featured stoppage wins by Jim Wallhead, Lewis Long, Paddy Pimblett and Danny Suter.
