Brian Rogers Enters Fourth Bellator Tournament At His Peak

For the fourth time, Brian Rogers will enter a Bellator middleweight tournament. He’s yet to win and thinks Season 9 will be different as he’s reaching his peak.

“I have more natural skills and ability than anyone in the middleweight division,” said Rogers to MMA Junkie. “I’m 29 years old and I feel like I’m just hitting my stride. I just feel really good about everything that’s happening in my life and in my training, and I’m ready to take it to the next level.”

He will take on Mikkel Parlo in the opening round of Saturday’s Bellator 98.

Rogers reached the semifinals twice and the quarterfinals in the most recent attempt. He’s 2-3 under the Bellator banner with every fight being in a tournament.

Parlo is 9-1, taking the defeat at February’s Bellator 89. He’s finished all but one win.

Bellator 98 airs on Spike TV at 8 p.m. ET tomorrow, September 7. All opening round fights of the middleweight tournament are on the main card.
